The LIVE Daddying Film Forum will take place Friday and Saturday, January 30th and 31st on-campus at American University in Washington, DC. Select Atticus Award-winning and finalist films, past and present, will screen during the two-day Forum, which brings children/youth together with their Dads/dad figures, families, and mental health experts to examine and discuss thoughts, feelings, and insights in response to the D3F films they've watched. FREE passes to the live 2026 Forum are available NOW on Eventive.

D3F's 2025 FREE virtual festival screened 30+ Student, Dad & Indie Films. The 2025 LIVE Daddying Film Forum was held at Bryn Mawr College, just outside of Philadelphia.
D3F 2024's virtual festival on Eventive presented 40+ Films during festival week. The 2-day, LIVE Daddying Film Forum, also in Philly, included:
2024 Forum Day 1 at the Parkway Central Free Library featured screenings of 2024 Atticus Award-winning student and dad-created films, finalist films, including Canadian filmmaker Tristan Barrocks' Dear Black Dad, and a special presentation of the 2024 Sundance Film Festival’s Audience Award winner for Best U.S. documentary and winner for Festival Favorite, Daughters, before its Netflix debut! We were profoundly honored that Girls For A Change founder and co-director, Angela Patton, attended to participate in a live Q&A, and, appropriately, was introduced by her father, Harry Walker.
2024 Forum Day 2 at the iconic Mummers Museum, presented a selection of D3F 2024 indie features (including our 2024 Atticus Award winner Two Lives in Pittsburgh) and dad-created film finalists! Attendees also had access to the museum.
